Ehren grew up on Salt Spring Island, off the west coast of Canada. Having artist parents, he grew up surrounded by art and photography. He’s always had a passion for outdoor activities and the wilderness, which was where he found his inspiration for filming and love of cinematography.

In 2011 Ehren attended Capilano University in North Vancouver, Canada. He was taught by world renowned cinematographers Ross Kelsey and Danny Nowak. He excelled at all of his classes, and graduated with a certificate in cinematography.

Since then Ehren has been filming for faultline tv, where he films alongside Eric Peterson, Jim Vanerhorst, and other independent film makers. As well as filming productions from Smart Surface Technologies, and Stand Up Apparel.
